The deconstruction of the 4th floor has begun! We are very excited that the tender will close on August 13. Soon we will begin renovation. We still are in need of help with this exciting renovation of maternity and pediatrcis. We certainly would appreciate your help.
2. The Greatest Need Fund:
This fund allows the
Foundation to respond to priority needs as they arise.
3. Trail and District Hospice Palliative Care Program
The Foundation receives funds for the Hospice Program.
The Trail and District Hospice Palliative Care Program supports quality end of life care. We provide a range of services including social and emotional support to the palliative patient and their loved ones, a large library, the loaning of equipment (special mattresses for example), bedside volunteers and bereavement support. This support is provided in the hospital, in the home and in long term care facilities. There is no cost for these services.
4. Donors are always able to donate their money
to a unit, floor or programme within the hospital.
The Foundation is legally
obligated to allocate funds as donors request.
