Legacy

A planned gift is any current or deferred gift made with forethought to the charity and the financial implications to the donor. Generally, a planned gift is made from capital rather than income and ideally should be a part of the donor's overall estate plan. The object of gift planning is to meet charitable goals while maximizing tax benefits and other financial benefits. A Will can be a means to making a substantial gift to the Foundation without diminishing the assets available to contributors during their lifetimes. Important estate tax savings can result from such contributions.
The Foundation is authorized to seek and receive gifts and bequests, to accept trusts and carry out their provisions, and to hold, administer, manage, invest and allocate gifts of all types. The KBRH Health Foundation acknowledges and respects the right of any donor to remain anonymous.
