A $5,000 donation towards Digital Mammography was made by Scotiabank team members Allyson Tremblay, Customer Service Manager, Elin Mahon, Branch Manager, Heather McWhirter and Kim Ogston, Customer Service Representatives to Lisa Pasin, Director of Development of the KBRH Health Foundation. 

This $5,000 was donated through Scotiabank’s company match program for their participation in the Snowflake Campaign.  The Snowflake Campaign raised a total of $18,325 for Digital Mammography.

 

 

The Kiwanis Club of Trail, represented by Peter Thiessen, Club Secretary, and Wayne Hodgson, Club Treasurer, present $1000 to Lisa Pasin, Director of Development of the KBRH Health Foundation in support of the Digital Mammography campaign.


 

Joyce Verburg, team leader for Falkins Insurance Group presents $1000 to Lisa Pasin, Director of Development for the KBRH Health Foundation, in support of the Digital Mammography campaign. 

Falkins Insurance Group has local branches in Salmo and Fruitvale. 

At the same time, Falkins Insurance Group donated an additional $100 to the upcoming Zumbathon event on April 14th, which raises funds for Digital Mammography.

 

Helen McLellan, President and Sharon Hansen, Vice President of the Rossland Health Care Auxiliary present an additional $30,000 cheque to Lisa Pasin, Director of Development for the KBRH Health Foundation to support Digital Mammography. 

$60,000 was donated by the Rossland Health Care Auxiliary in 2011 to the Digital Mammography campaign.

Trail Hospital Auxiliary donates to kbrh health foundation

Lisa Pasin, Director of Development and Carol Schlender, Chair of the KBRH Health Foundation, accept a $60,000 donation from the Trail Hospital Auxiliary. $30,000 supports Digital Mammography, $4,000 maintains gardens around KBRH, and $26,000 is for general equipment purchase at KBRH.

Trail Auxiliary volunteers in attendance include: Karen Hadley, President, Eileen Ferraro, Vice President, Erm Stevens, Director of Volunteers, Dave Millard, TV Coordinator, Janet Bublitz, Past President, and Loretta Fox, porter and gift shop volunteer.

On behalf of the RBC Foundation, Scott Fraser, Branch Manager RBC, presents Bill Clark, Treasurer, Lisa Pasin, Director of Development, and Carol Schlender, Chair of the KBRH Health Foundation, with a $20,000 cheque for the Digital Mammography campaign.

Over the last decade, the RBC Foundation has donated $90,000 to KBRH and KLHF.


Rossland Heathcare donates to kbrh heatj foundation

Rossland Healthcare Auxiliary President Helen McLellan presents a $48,500 cheque to Rick Georgetti, volunteer board member, Lisa Pasin, Director of Development, Carol Schlender, Chair, and Bill Clark, Treasurer for the KBRH Health Foundation.

$30,000 is designated to Digital Mammography and $4,700 will fund a cast saw for the cast clinic at KBRH.

Shoppers Drug Mart donates to kbrh health foundation

Linda Sieb, owner of Shoppers Drug Mart in Trail presented a cheque to Carol Schlender, Chair and Lisa Pasin, Director of Development for the KBRH Health Foundation for $1,061.

Proceeds were raised from the Shoppers Tree of Life program and are designated to Digital Mammography.


Tim Hortons donates to kbrh health foundation

Chris Sykes, owner of Tim Horton’s, Cindy Rogers, manager Trail location, and Dorothy Milligan, baker Trail location, presents a total donation of $3,250 to Carol Schlender, Chair and Lisa Pasin, Director of Development for the KBRH Health Foundation.

$2,250 was raised for Digital Mammography from the Smile Cookie Campaign and $1,100 was donated from the Tim Horton’s Trail location staff in lieu of a Christmas party.

BV Lions donate to kbrh health foundation


BV Lions members, Doug Brooke, VP and Chair of Donations, Bev Thompson, Committee Chair for Community Involvement, and Paul Terness, President, present $19,000 to Carol Schlender, Chair and Lisa Pasin, Director of Development for the KBRH Health Foundation.

The BV Lions funds patient care initiatives across multiple departments at KBRH.

Shirley Wanjoff, President, Castlegar and District Hospital Auxiliary presents a $5,000.00 cheque to Lisa Pasin, Director of Development, KBRH Health Foundation for the Digital Mammography campaign.

The Castlegar and District Hospital Auxiliary has also pledged $5000.00 for 2012 for the Digital Mammography campaign.

Lisa Pasin, Director of Development for the KBRH Health Foundation accepts a $10,000 cheque from Harry Stanton, Exalted Ruler and Neil McCallum, Past District Deputy of the BPO Elks Lodge #50 to put toward the Digital Mammography campaign.

After many years of service, the Ellks are disbanding.  Thank you for your wonderful donation.


Lisa Pasin, Director of Development for the KBRH Health Foundation, accepts a cheque from Joanne Cremer, Treasurer Rossland Healthcare Auxiliary, for $2587.00 for the purchase of one of two new Triage chairs for the KBRH Emergency Department, along with an additional donation from the Golden City Fiddlers, who performed at the Auxiliary’s Kootenay Area Boundary Conference.

Kootenay Savings presented KBRH Health Foundation with a cheque for $6756 today. Partial proceeds from their Care Wear program were donated to support the Digital Mammography campaign. Thanks to Kootenay Savings and their staff for their suppport and generosity!
